Steve Bratton
General Manager
Steve Bratton was appointed General Manager of the Board of Public Works in August 2025. He joined BPW in 2023, bringing with him extensive experience in public administration and finance. Prior to his tenure at BPW, Mr. Bratton served as County Administrator for Cherokee County and as Finance Director for the Cherokee County School District. Mr. Bratton holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina – Columbia. He and his wife Nichole enjoy traveling and spending quality time with their five children.
Bryant Fleming
Water Plant Superintendent
Bryant leads the operations of the BPW Water Plant, ensuring clean and safe drinking water for the community through oversight of treatment processes and regulatory compliance.
Brad Wright
Electrical Superintendent
Brad oversees BPW’s electrical systems and infrastructure, supervising maintenance, safety, and expansion projects to ensure reliable power distribution for all customers.
Adam Ruppe
Waste Water Superintendent
Adam manages the wastewater treatment operations for BPW, focusing on environmental compliance, system efficiency, and community health through reliable wastewater services.
Josh Patterson
Water Distribution Superintendent
Josh leads BPW’s water distribution team, overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of pipelines to provide consistent and high-quality water service across the system.
Adam Harris
Operations Engineer
Adam provides engineering expertise for BPW’s operational systems, supporting upgrades, technical projects, and system analysis to maintain and improve service reliability.
Diane Fowler
Finance Director
Diane directs BPW’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and strategic financial planning, ensuring the organization’s fiscal health and accountability.
Tyler Bagwell
Information Technology Director
Tyler oversees BPW’s technology systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, supporting innovation and secure operations across all departments and customer platforms.
