PFAS

Last week the Board of Commissioners for the BPW took the proactive step of opting out of two national class-action settlements against the manufacturers of a chemical known as PFAS. BPW feels that our best option is to pursue our own litigation against those who created a nationwide problem affecting every person in the US. Both local papers did a great job of covering this story and their articles may answer some questions you may have. Additionally, BPW will be maintaining a section on our website devoted to ongoing developments and information about PFAS as it becomes available. Please know this is a rapidly changing topic and we are working diligently to keep abreast of changing requirements, regulations, and advisories.
